Unfortunately, many of us have had a bad experience with irresponsible breeders and/or puppy mills in the past.  However, to your benefit, this has promoted the BMDCO, along with the BMDCGS, to passionately search for and come up with some valuable tools for the puppy buyer to help make it easier to get connected with quality breeders.  Please understand that this is a process that may take a little time.  If you are looking for a dog which has the best chance to be healthy and orthopedically stable, you, the puppy buyer should be diligent in finding a responsible breeder.  At the same time, you need to be patient for the breeder to be able to produce such a puppy for you.  These breeders are known for the quality dogs they produce, and most likely will have a waiting list.  But who knows, you might luck out and have your puppy waiting for you this very minute !!  In the mean time, we've put together a Tool Kit of some great resources to help you.
